JBridge needs a USB keyboard to be plugged in while working with presets, but that does not really bother me. KORG nano PAD also has the same problem. For touch controls it even does not work when all instances of MIDI are done with MIDI Mapper.
The only problem I have had with this plugin is that it is a bit crashy at times. A crash will still save its settings, but you need to manually re-open it for it to take effect. I plan to send it to Shauna to have it fixed a tad better... Because I use it all of the time, I decided to go with the trial version.
MASSIVE is great for getting started on your project, featuring 9 guitar amps to choose from. With a USB keyboard, you can learn some basics on synth play, and quickly progress to mixing and mastering.
KORG nano PAD, in my opinion, is an easy and fun way to learn how to program your own synth. Whilst it doesn't really have many controls, you can still tweak some parameters to tweak the sound. If you have a PC that has a KORG nano PAD, this is worth checking out. Data entry can be done via the keyboard, which is not great. d2c66b5586
