The BodySlide:Sourcedata.hpp file is the big one. This file holds all the data that is used to tell Bodyslide who are you modeling and what you want to change. It contains all the parameters and variables that are used to build the mesh of your Outfit/Body. You can add your own variables here, or modify the ones that are listed. In the outfitting/body files, there are 5 classes that are used to build your Outfit/Body. They are:
Each of these classes has a function that uses the variables in your BodySlide:Sourcedata.hpp file. For example, the Outfit classes have functions for things like checking what outfitting/body type you're creating, what outfit you have selected, etc.
So, why is BodySlide so big? The reason is simple; I'm a perfectionist, and I don't like it when things aren't done right. I have no tolerance for bugs. My solution to this is to build large modularized programs for my mods, and it has paid off handsomely. Batch Build takes this to the next level, and allows me to create hundreds of Outfits/Bodies much more quickly, and I get to test them all as I go. Since I've been involved with this mod for a while, it has evolved into a major pillar of the BodySlide bodyshaping ecosystem. It's a big, complicated program so I can't cover everything in this post but I've tried to do it justice. So, let's look at the source files and how you can edit them.
-It is much easier to use sliders starting at the far left than near the right. This is because it is easier to move the slider towards the right. If you start at the left side, you move to the left and then add the sliders to the right. If you start at the right, you move to the right and add sliders to the left. In terms of creating a Preset, this means it is easier to create a Preset that starts at the right side and adds sliders to the left. 827ec27edc
